Wow awesome night !
Ric y Martin were really amazing. A little bit too fast for me, but wow what a show, I'm glad I could witness that !!
And the real show started at 5 am, with Ricardo dropping it properly.

I was in a party mode, but there was no parties to be found at the metropolis.
heck, even that small second room at metropolis was more bumping, too bad it was almost empty because no on knew about it.
From 12:30 to 4:45 I can't even remember a single highlight, other than meeting mastercongo, sean, nacht and the crew from Toronto.
Am I the only who has the guts to say it wasn't good as expected?
I found Fabric 36 depressing, i should have listened my guts and stayed home.

for me it was disapointing. im very very sure the end was much better but for me the live performance killed it. danddy jack was ok with the beats but when he started using that synth thing in every track it was just plain annoying. then ricardo started to play with dandy and it was i bit better just dandy did it again with that thing. i dont know if it was a synth or what.
the best time for me was the first hour ricardo played, it was sooooo good. with the latin acapellas, the sinnerman version was great. i left like at 4:15 knowing that i would miss a better dj set by ricardo after but i had no more mood for it.
next time i see him i will only go for dj set. from my point of view that danddy jack set had no flow, no progression and no direction.
but im glad some of you enjoyed.
btw julien now i understand why they only do the live act once a year. cause its terrible. and to think that it could have been a 6 hour ricardo set. |
