| You don't even know if the place you ate it in was a good place. There's loads of fish bars in loads of towns and umpteen thousand restaurants about. I'm surprised after coming from the number one processed place in the world that you wouldn't want to try some good foreign food anyway. |

Poutine and Tortierre pwn all of LA's offerings.
there has been no handroll, tika masala, green curry, souvlaki or pizza that can compare to the magic that is st albert's cheese curd, st. hubert gravy and fresh cut fries served in styrofoam.
and i havent even begun to describe the wonders of a homemade moose & seasoned pork tortierre. |

This thread is full of ignorance it's like walking to a McDonalds in ...... italy and then going ITALIAN FOOD SUCKS!!! Most amusing thing I ever saw were some yanks going into a multi kebab-pizza-chip shop (the gashest ist food shop type imaginable... only scum eat there) then taking pics of the slop in front of them because it was "british fish and chips" hahahaha what a joke!!! A proper fish and chips is alot more healthy than slices of cow o ring diced in with some sinew to hold it togeather.
Like Aberdeen Angus beef? That's British, aside from kobe and highland (you guys don't get that, but it is better than even our pure AA) you won't get better.
We are an island we have the freshest fish in europe.
We have a huge number of excellent chefs, TV chefs are like gods here and the organic and locally sourced food markets are huge.
I normally never rant... but that gets my goat! |
