what do you mean by traditional?
Acton
some were mentioned before, we have bangers and mash, beef wellington, sunday roast, full english breakfast, Kedgeree, etc etc

by traditional i suppose i mean popular, long running cuisines that have been in the country for years on end

I know you're being sarcy but seriously, first saying the US has a strong economy and now this...

Meat loaf? That's not american....

Roasting pork... nah never been done....

And MACARONI (that great old ITALIAN PASTA) plus a roux (hoping your guessing thats not american) with cheese added... how american!

the only 'traditional' (and i use that it the lightest sense possible) food i can think of from America is the burger.

but im not going to deny it, i do enjoy a good burger

This is the funniest thing I have ever read.

These are all well known American dishes and anyone who could see past the end of their own nose would know that.

Btw where did you get PORK ROAST from POT ROAST?

Most of them would be easier to name the American dishes not invented here.

The most famous american dish i guess is the Hamburger. Named after a German city but not invented there. dont forget we have lots of German immigrants.
