That isnt a real poutine rob. propper poutine comes from Quebec, and it comes in styrofoam OR cardboard. no substitutions!
I recommend Bob Patate and Chez fritz in Gatineau Quebec, or Chez Mimi in Ville Marie. |

moose has to be prepared different from other red meats. It has little to no fat content so you need to cook it in fat in order to avoid leather like texture. i usually marinate in olive oil, salt and pepper and then bbq, or grind it for use in tortierre. it does have a gamy taste, but i like it.
If you are from Newfoundland, you can the moose. This is done by cubing the meat, then filling mason jars with meat (and some times moose blood) then pressure cook it. It sounds disgusting, but it is freakin fantastic! |

I've only ever had moose in Alaska. They make countless items with it, all of them terrible. :( |
