Also, I don't quite see how being a 'brewmaster' (which isn't even the term, btw) would make you an expert on beer. |
Brewmaster is the term given to people who have mastered (for lack of a better term) the art of brewing beer. You cannot equate the ability to brew beer with being a brewmaster; the former requires a couple of copper kettls, water, yeast and hopps, while the latter requires years of education and apprenticeship. I would consider a brewmaster to be an expert on beer, I would consider someone who drinks a lot of beer and then writes about it on the internet to be a lonely, sad, man. |

What if you just drink a lot of it without the writing? :( |

This is one of the funniest things I have read today, and that's saying something. You know absolutely nothing about beer. You have not in any way described the process of brewing beer correctly.
This is like a McDonalds employee telling Gordon Ramsay how to cook or a film student telling Kubrick how to direct or a learner driver telling a Formula 1 driver how to drive.
I don't normally like belittle people but you leave me very little choice today. |

No not false, malt liquor is beer. What you have done is comparable to someone saying "No, this isn't wine, it is Shiraz". |

Easy... every time I take a sip of 50 I feel like back-woods Quebecer driving a ski-doo through the forest looking for moose with the horrid stench of pea soup oozing out of ever one of my poores while signing Alouette or what ever the that stupid bird song is.

Brewing beer is no harder than cooking food |
funny, i know alot of people who are half decent cooks, yet they couldnt make a decent homebrew to save themselves....
i would take the word of a professional chef over my mother (who is a fantastic cook) any day of the week when it comes to gastronomic endeavours.
when it comes to beer, i would respect the opinion of a Brewmaster (also known as braumeister), whom in order to obtain that title requires 2.5 yrs study into the art of beer making, over the opinion of an internet troll or self proclaimed beer affectionado. Brewmasters earn the equivalent of a masters degree in beer making. |
