I was disgusted by so much sh*t in that movie... the betrayal, how money rules over everything - even blood ties, how people's sexual desires corrupt their lives, the decadent drugginess aka coke addicts... having said all that - it's an amazing film and I would definitely see it again.
and PS. I had this confirmed by a friend who lives in la ville de QC, but were the hospitals really that bad at one point? Or is that a satirical representation? |

Loved La Dolce Vita. I took a couple Cinema History classes and we got to watch some really great foreign films. That was one of them.
The 400 Blows was another one...it was probably my favorite. |
