Just came back from "Das Leben ist eine Baustelle" (Life is All You Get) ---> weird translation of the german title which actually means "Life is a Construction Site"

Great work by Wolfgang Becker (who also did Goodbye Lenin) and Tom Tykwer (writer of Run Lola Run)
Interesting plotline and really dynamic characters :toocool:
Each character is more or less trying to "find themself"
Lots of nudity and hilarious german cursing.
Takes place in Berlin, right after the reunification.
Some parts were freaking hilarious - also has a bunch of very dark humour which the trailer doesn't show as much:

Good calls on City of God and La Haine imo, watched the latter again yesterday by chance. Didn't see any comment on Battle Royale which completes my 3 (BRII also pretty solid)

you know how some things cannot be unseen???? well this is one of them. im not , bitchass or anything like that but that "famous" scene in this movie made me puke. im serious, i got dizzy, i got really sick to my stomach and i puked. to this day i cannot forget those 9 minutes and i dont think i ever will. so if you have strong stomach and are not afraid for your sanity check it out cause story and photography and camera work are really something else. 7 thumbs up
