So, what do you think about the Stephenville UFO sighting?

so the military first claims they had nothing to do with it but as soon as the pan starts getting hot they jump on claiming they were doing training in the area.
now im not saying im right or not but id honestly rather believe the witnesses than the air force.
what do you think? stephenville or even in general.

By changing their story makes me believe they are hiding something. Whether it be a UFO or some new technology they are keeping secret.

i entertain the idea that there really could be other civilisations in the universe, but no, i do not believe they have a method of getting here, and there's absolutely no ing way they have landed and the government(s) of the world are keeping this from us.
its amazing how many of the abductions/sightings/experiences occur in the USA. coz super-intelligent beings that have solved the problems of faster than light travel really feel the need to anal probe some middle-aged factory worker that married his sister. and government officials and workers can keep a secret really well! |

Just saw larry king live debating on the UFO's and especially the texas sighting, seems the UFO actually disabled the missiles there, plus some dude from the army saw the UFO taking away at a blazing speed but without any noise or sonic boom.

You don't think there might be another race out there that is capable of travelling at warp speeds? The way I look at it, they're probably taking a scientific approach by simply observing us from afar and watching what we'll do next. Of course that is just my opinion, but I can't accept the fact that we're the only intelligent life out in the universe. We're too God damned stupid to be given such a prestigious title. |

yeah, they travel across the universe to secretly research us but get caught by rural texans.

and it would be silly too. given the size of the universe i'd be very surprised if we were the only intelligent life. but its far sillier to assume that little green men have solved the problems of intergalactic travel without any evidence.

how "intelligent" an advanced species is would depend a lot on the age of the part of the universe that they come from. if older than us then i'd wager we were behind in the title race ;)
there's a pretty big jump between accepting the possibility of life in the billions of star systems in the universe, and arguing that someone is (not so) clandestinely investigating us from an area of space hundreds/thousands/gigabajillions light years away. |

stephenville, tx is right in the center of three military installations: Fort Hood Army Post (Kileen, TX), Dyess AFB (Abilene, TX), and Sheppard AFB (Witchita Falls, TX).
to think that not one of those places was doing some kind of training mission (when one of those locations is a TRAINING site) is kind of rediculous. and what, you want them to tell you everything you're doing? 1) you don't have proper clearance, and 2) even if you did, you don't have a need to know ;) |

I believe that there are far more superior beings out there that look at us in the same way that we look at ants,,bees etc..Yeah,,it's incredible that an ant can lift 20 times its own body weight but at the end of the day 'it's still a ing ant'..Aliens have prolly got no intention whatsoever in coming to earth in the same way that I have no desire to join an ant colony...I believe the answer is that simple...
Think about it,,how many ants in one colony have ever seen a car ????...Prolly a very small number in a colony of millions and I guess the ones that claimed to have seen a car get laughed at or called liars... |
