Dam - I'm gutted I missed this show. I've been wanting to see Menno for some time now. I simply couldn't find anyone to join me - and I hate rolling solo. Not a fun drive at 4 am from San Jose. I rolled solo for markus - but rolling solo 2 weekends in a row is a little hard on me little brain. Ha ha ha.
Sounds like everyone had a good night, and sounds like all sets for the night were rocking. Hope to catch up with you guys at a future event.

That was a trademark Menno set.. I am trying to ID one track he played, somewhere in the middle toward the end, it was kind of electro, then had a strong melody (sounded like a minor key) in the break.. no vocals.. I know that could describe a lot of tracks but any ideas? :toothless this might help, I remembered the melody
That was Markus Schulz - Fly to Colors not sure what remix...
EDIT Video Below is not from Menno....

Thank You Taj for finally bringing Menno de Jong back to San Francisco... This guy is amazing and definetely the future of Trance...
Had such a great time...
Now only if next booking was Menno de Jong and Aly and Fila the same night I would die in peace.. (One can always dream).

It sucks that I had to take this weekend off... the reviews for this night sound top notch. I hope Menno makes it back to SF some day soon...

Menno de Jong was great, the music was awesome, the crowd was ready, but the sound system did not do him justice. Lack of sound, not loudness
Changes are for the good and better usually, but I have yet to see.
The djm-mixer replacing Allen & Heath messes up the sound system's compression & calibration.
The fun part is meeting you wonderful TAs.
And the highlight of the the night was Lyndsay's house set was phantastic.

Yes Thomas I agree the sound was not that great, well not at the start, for the first 20 minutes it was muffled and low.. then Taj came in put the volume up a bit and did something it made the sound louder but something was missing...
This guy next to me that seemed to know the sound engineer, said there was issues??
i was pretty bummed about missing menno and the gang after hearing about his set from andrieux the next morning, but there were some overriding circumstances that prevented me from being there :( sorry lyndsay! i know we promised to make it, but you can't fault me! sounds like it was a successful night so i look forward to his next visit :) i was hoping to see him and taj at the endup too as the rumor was he was excited to check the place out :whip:

Ya we chatted it up a bit before he left Sunday morning, aftr his set. Definitely loved the club, and the vibe of the night. Looked like everyone really enjoyed his set too, considering he played alot of identifiable classics, some of them remixes I never even heard before.
He ended with a remix if I recall correctly, of Greece 2000. He says he cant wait to come back, and really enjoyed playing at 1015. id like to see and hear him with Re-Locate, haha. I remember when he played nolthando, I accidently identified it as solid state. Im such an idiot.
