More info on releasing Menno's set as soon as I can get it... (Still need final approval from Taj too)... but right now, we're in the works of getting the sound juuuuust right..... I'll send it to Menno & Taj after we finish post production...

Sure, send it over and ill have a listen, I didnt like some parts of the mix tho but we will see...
When Menno arrived, he wanted to get setup to record. On that Pioneer I didn’t have the right outs to record, so I asked if it would be ok if we recorded it. He says yes that’s fine. I don’t recall how much of it he recorded, but I think after the first hour, he got the right wires to record straight to his lappy.
I didn’t want to do a line out straight to a pc, but capture the ambience of the audience in the recording.
I couldn’t find VJ in time to get the recording up in time for live audio in the beginning as things were already being taken down. But I think after the 3rd or 4th track, Nolthando, we were back on track.
Vj, I did let Menno know that we would be in contact with him so he can get the approval for the recording, he says “awesome, I’m looking forward to it”.
Overall, possibly one of the best nights in 2008 to date so far. I can’t wait to see what this coming satuday is like with Adam Sheridan in the house again. |

| what a night, awesome beginning to my weekend trip to the city. Awesome partying with Kirk and Lyndsay and getting free jack in the box at 4 in the morning..guess i wasnt the only one drunk lol. Cant wait to head back to SF and do it up with more of the SFTA's. |

Menno's is taking longer than expected because its almost 2 1/2 hours long.... and when I bounce the file... it'll have to be done in REAL TIME... dam Pro Tools... and that's kinda hard on a University campus lab computer that has classes... I'm gonna work non stop this week and hopefully finish...
Blurr's is almost done, I had to work on his first since that was my class project.... we just got lucky enough to get a lot of Menno's too....
I HOPE I can finish both by this week so I can give Blurr and Taj both data copies on DVD instead of uploading it... much faster and easier for them to hear...
I need permission from Taj first before I can post Menno's, and I can't get permission until it's done....
Blurr's set will be Cut UP! (If not the whole thing... 30 minutes of it) If you remembered his set (which you might not as it was 2 weeks ago) his last 30-40 minutes were incredible.... from Tiesto's "Somewhere Inside of Me" to his mashup.... really nice set... I'll try to get as much as I can done by this week... :eyespop: |
