sorry i meant the ORDER of primates.. not the family.
So we are quite quite different from monkeys
Its literally like comparing dogs and cats.
if you think about it. There are
5 kingdoms
35 phylums
then class
then order (where we fall into the same category as modern monkeys[primates]
family
genus
species
as you go down the taxonomy the classifications increase exponentially to where there is approximatley 500,000,000 species. |

As hard as it is to be polite, I should warn both of you that Darwin never said humans evolved from monkeys, as stated in the first paragraph. Had he met both of you, however, I reckon he would have probably considered this hypothesis... and wondered whether any sort of evolution had really happened in this case.
Really, if you're going to criticise an idea, make sure you know what you're complaining about ;) |
