What is the normal mode of transportation in 2049? Are airplanes much faster to get from point-A to point-B?
Why has space travel been put on the back burner? Were we finally able to step foot on mars before this happened? |

Airplanes are very fast, they don't use combustion, but rather fuel cells which use an ion exchange system. If you wanted to go from New York to Paris, it would take about 2 1/2 hours. These are public flights, mind you. The military uses much different forms of transportation, which I hesitate to discuss.
Also, NASA loses much of it's funding for Mars exploration after 2016. |
