There is still a secrecy. It's quite obvious that our government is hiding something. Time travel was around for years before it was unveiled to the public, and there were rumors about the military acquiring the technology from aliens.
...
To go 50 years through time... precisely, and at the same location at an NYU research lab, is no small feat.
So how does that work, really? Are we to assume that NYU is part of a secret "collective" in 2008 that know about time travel and have a lab set aside so that people in the future can travel here? If not, what did you say when you entered the lab and people went, "Holy :wtf:!?"
Seriously. I would've expected that if someone was going to bull us like this that they would've tried harder.

Also, I have to re-visit this little bit here...

You can, of course it doesn't sound near the same. Which is how age-old copyrights are avoided. Maybe I should have explained it more. But, if Beethoven's 5th can be turned later into a Disco song in the 1970's. Does it sound the same? Of course not.
You'll understand once the times change, I suppose.
Have you even heard the two pieces of music you're comparing? Beethoven's Fifth is 4:4. The disco song, A Fifth of Beethoven, is also in 4:4. They sound exactly the same. There's a vast difference between putting a 4:4 beat behind a 4:4 melody, and attempting to change a 4:4 dance melody to a 3:3 concert orchestra melody.
Proof?

You shouldn't take threads like these all that serious. Yes it's probable that he is making false claims, but c'mon. have some fun with it, and move on.

The admins looked it up, and it seems he isn't an alt, after all. Either that, or he's using someone else's computer.
