Astral Projection in KH a few years ago...played between Marco V and someone else (Max Graham or DJ Dan?).

- drunk out of their mind
- sprayed booze over the crowd at one point
- put a CD on for at least a half hour as they were too f'd up to work
- bothering the DJs spinning before and after their sets
'

IT was Christopher Lawrence that was after them and that was partially my fault because HE and I were interviewing in the back and had no clock and no one came to get him.

(AP was "live" so they ran out of recorded stuff and could not do anything else lol)

ME @ System Soundbar a long time ago... maybe November 2003 or something.

I remember that set. That was almost as bad as MY set later in the night at System

Lol

Addy opening for Mark Farina at System Sound Bar. 2005 i think..

What an embarrassment.

I guess that's what happens when you make a bonehead of a move by letting Addy open for Mark Farina anyway.

Nobody trainwrecked as bad as I did when I had spun there. Flow was dead on I dare say but what annoyed me is I did a stupid mistake. The phrase matching in the incoming track was REALLY off and instead of mixing out which is what you should do, I let it run...bass from the outgoing clashed with the bass from the incoming = shoes in the drier. lol Ah well.

Woah... Chris Allen at Rum Runners was DEFINITELY not the worst. He spun a WICKED set and had everybody moving...

And trance energy 2000??? That set is a classic... Honestly, that set changed so many people I know from gino's to trance addicts...

Chris Allen's set at rum runners was fantastic and Tiesto at TE2000 is a set I have burnt on 2 cd's in case it ever gets lost its f'in amazing!!!

oh and how can I forget this one... the most recent Tiesto set at the Docks w the Pdiddly show appearance when he dropped the aguilera track or whatever that was...literally for 2 minutes everyone on the floor were confused as hell and were whispering all kinds of to eachother and you could sense the WTF'NESS ....It was the worst ever I left the party

Honestly, Armin just doesn't play the type of trance I like - so I have to keep it in context. However, when you are playing the 1-3 30 slot, your goal is NOT to finish the audience off. He played as if it was HIS show, but SVD and Yahel were coming on directly after him, and it was just pure weakness. Every time he busted out the Jesus pose during a 2 minute major note breakdown, I was praying he would get the hell off so that I could dance for more than 3 minutes at a time. I guess he was playing for the drunks, though. I suppose the flip side is that half of the wankers who were there cleared out after AVB, so there was much more room for the real tracks to hit the floor ;)

*I should make note: I respect Armin for his history, for his dedication to his craft, and for SO many of the tunes he put out that helped build my love for trance in the first place. I just don't feel like he played appropriately for the night.*

Josh Gabriel @ Decadance 2006
Oakie, Second Sun @ Guv 10 year
George Acosta @ Viva
ATB @ Freedom

Not to say that they are all bad DJ's/Producers, but definetely on these nights they were piss poor.
