Oh please...like you were listening anyways. Lars and I were the ones that had to deal with that terrible set for hours.

I was there too.

That was beyond brutal in every way.

Musically and technically.

Records skipping, trainwreck trainwreck.....

As everyone is entitled to an opinion, I am entitled to mine as well - and to say this is 'the worst DJ set you've ever hear' is a stretch to say the least. lol

Maybe didn't do it for you? Sure....
but the worst? c'mon.
I was there that night, thought it was awesome (not the best from them, but whatev)
The one thing I did remember about this night was they were a bit later than they were supposed to start, and I do recall a lot of people visibly ting themselves waiting for them to take the stage....

based on my expectations of SOS - it was the worst. And I know others who were EXTREMELY disappointed with that set as well... and I wanted to keep it at an international DJ level instead of pointing fingers at some locals (I'll leave that for the review threads lol).

I guess I have yet to hear a lot of bad sets... and I am okay with that:)

you reminded me of the time i booked Freqnasty about 3 years ago.. maybe mroe. It was well before anyone really knew what dubstep was. We were expecting a breaks set. what we got was 90 minutes of god knows what and a room full people confused looking people just standing around. Never again!

worst probably (and i only witnessed 30 min of it) was at zone last year. Guy played in gallery then zone. Apparently was playing house-techno-tribal-diva-electro-breaks-progressive-trance. All in one set. Was about to enter the darkness of cz and people were trying to stop me from going in LOL

Derrick May @ Demf last year was really disappointing. Every other track was a trainwreck

With out a doubt, UNCLE (James Lavelle) at Carry On feat Sasha and Digweed - Ultra After Party at American Airlines Arena in 2005.

He went on after Hernan Cattaneo who killed it & got booed off the stage. There was a few thousand people booing the hell out of him till Diggers came on early. Till this day it was the only time I've seen a DJ actually get booed off stage. LOL

UNKLE? i can't believe he was bad, i'm sure it was actually the promoters fault who booked him to play after hernan which is hard to top on it's own.
if you listen to UNKLE's style i can see why he would get booed off, it was a wrong timeslot and inappropriate booking, most productions are deeptech, dub, ambient.
