Awesome time!! :) left at 2 but the mau5 was rocking out big time!! played a lot of good tunes with awesome live7 skills. The place looked so much better since they took out the damn gallery i think its the best thing they did for that place since the reno. and is it just me or did they extend the led wall all the way to the lil bar by the stage... or was it always like that. Thanks Shaya for the pass.. and thanks to "you know who u are" for the huge stack of passes .. i appreciate it!

What a ty night!

Ive been partying regularly for over 3 years and i think seen around 200 djs and Im almost certain that Deadmaus played the worst set ive ever heard in my entire life. Words cannot how bad it was. It tried to sleep when i came home and i honestly saw a nightmare, i was in a club where deadmaus was spinning and all the doors were locked and i couldnt get out :nervous:. Deadmaus i know u might read this plz dont take it personally even though my words may seem harsh, but at least im telling the truth, thats what i really thought. -0.00001/10

Zaeballo was mediocre. Hes got very good djing skills ( i thought he was mixing stuff up really clean and professionaly) but his set was meh. Long cheesy breakdowns, cheesy melodies sometimes, trancy feel, breaks, although many tracks were sick (hard and techy). However, after deadmaus it seemed like infinite improvment 5.94/10

Last night me my gf and my friend were thinking between goting to fw for burrige and this party and although obviously burridge would be a wiser choice musicwise, i dont really like footwork (plus im going there in two weeks for mark mendes) and thought it would be a better idea to go to the guv even though the music would certainly be worse, since it is so much better to party at the guv than in ghetto fw. All of us ended up superdissapointed.

I usually go out partying every week and must say that until yesterday it was a pretty good month partywise for me. Last week at the guv (family) was relatively sick (6.85/10 musicwise (pretty decent music in the mainroom and very good music in the orange room) and the week b4 I saw Alex Bau which was un-ing real musicwise (9.75/10). His set was almost pure perfection, aside from the relatively ty dubfire - roadkill (it is a listenable track but not in Bau's leauge) and one short weird breakdown. I mean it was pure orgasm for my ears (just for comparison, compared to liebing's recent performance at fw it made liebing seem like a rookie (although liebing's set was pretty wicked and def. deserved a good 8/10)). Again very dissapointed in last nite I give it 3/10 musicwise.

Next time will definately try to avoid such sausagefest parties. It was a good lesson for me that when you face a tradeoff good music/ty club or ty music/good club, no matter how good a club is it is not worth sacrificing good music for it and making your ears blead by forcing yourself to listen to the likes of above and beyond, ziggy x or dadmaus. :nervous: . Now i am really afraid to go to viva for mark oliver :nervous: even though it is my favourite club both sound and vibe wise. Really hope viva books some decent hauzman soon. Next week ill prolly save my money and will go to toi for a bit and in two weeks gonna go to fw for mark mendes (havent heard him live but judjing from his new tracks should be serious). Really hope it will be awesome cause i need some serious music fix after yesterday :sadgreen:

Zabiela was insanely good last time at Guvy, so I am super disappointed for missing it this time, as I'm sure the performance was nothing short of stellar.

Are you sure you were at the same party??? The place was blown to pieces!!! At some points there more hands up than an armmed robbery! I think you were maybe one of the few ppl that had a time.

Does anyone know if this set was recorded or will be podcasted in any way?

I have some videos, but can anyone ID Zabiela's second last track of the night? I think it was the one someone mentioned earlier at 5:30 during his encore...

I was waiting for this night for a long time and I certainly wasnt disappointed. Good to see the whole crew out once again. Barb even when you are sober you still somehow manage to look ing sketchy!!! LOL

Well this is for me until Moby at TiL!!

I think you lose all credibility when you can't even spell the respected DJ's name

Ye i did see people waving their hands etc. :nervous: But there is a very good reason for that and it is the kind of crowd u can observe in the guv. Guv atracts very large portion of irrelevant ppl and edm noobs and they like their cheese! (no offense to anyone). Ppl like that would also get blown away by blank and jones, pvd or axwell. It actually feells kinda uncomfortable to be among ppl like that, when everyone goes bonkers and waves their hands to hardcore cheese like lets say "world hold on" by bob sinclar or some filo and peri track. Isnt it scary? If you think filo and peri are not cheesy ok (i hope u dont), to unnderstand what i mean imagine that you went to a gino club (joker?) and some dj jimmy guido was playing scooter or cascada and everyone went bonkers. Technically the place was blown to pieces and all the ginos are gonna write "amazing party, sick" in the review thread on a gino site but does that really make scooter - maria (lol) awesome music?
