You can try Sony Cybershot DSC-W90/B..I find that a decent deal for it is only $250..

he wants a camera that doesnt get ed with the bass on videos. if you know for sure it doesnt then cool..but dont just go around recommending cameras if your unsure of the audio performance in the videos.
jd: the old powershot battery will not work with the 870. the batteries have changed since then. also as inconspicuous said, anything over 2gb is SDHC which you wont have a problem with. i would recommend 4gb. unless you take 2-300 pics a night you wont run out for the whole week at wmc. the battery will die multiple times before you run out of memory.
incon: the 850 doesnt supercede the 800. the 870 does. the 850 doesnt have a wide angle lens while the 870 does. :D |

lol you will LOVE the camera. it has MUCH better battery life than the 600, supports SDHC, has a wide angle lens, isnt subject to the ty audio when taking video at edm events, and it takes wonderful photos. |

i actually would have to agree that the power button on the 800is was MUCH better. it wasnt easy to just accidently turn on. in fact you couldnt "accidently" turn it on. |
