Poor mixing skills of DJ Tiesto at Gatecrasher 2002, Dutch Dimension and etc, etc

| Well i've been listening to Tiesto's gatecrasher set and his mixing skills are horrible, sometimes not even waiting for 32 beats to mix 2 songs. Same thing on dutch dimension and i'm sure on many others. DJ Trainwreck Tiesto |

| I will agree on the fact he fades tunes out quickly now and again which obviously disturbs the mix and makes it sudden and very un-affective. I also must add I have not heard a dramatic trainwreck form DJ Tiesto, Sorry mate but you must have been listening to another DJ, Judge Jules maybee ? |

| Judge Jules seldom trainwrecks. Tiesto does sometimes but not dramatic ones. PvD hardly ever puts a beat wrong. |

If thats an alternative of saying PVD is a better DJ than Tiesto then youre Sick !
Im intrested to see the comments on this thread, I apoligise for bringing Jules up, We dont want another Flame thread. |

hmmm....
maybe they thought if they played decent tunes they cud get away with crap mixing coz all the people that cared about the mixxing wud be wrecked! but then again pvd played tunes as well...
i wonder why most djs up a bit at big events (eg: ferry and armin did a few ups at telewest too)
but i have to admit hearing the tiesto nec set again the mixing is highly amusing! :toothless |

Yeah, PVD played a pretty ginger tracklist! DJ Tiesto played the tunes but his mixing was far from sorted. My theory is he buckled under the pressure, All those people just whent to his head.
I find it hard two beleive you can up with 18 foot speakers in-front of you, or was that Galaxy presenter full of ? |

if he is trying to say PVD is better than Tiesto, then lets just take a look PVD At Gatecrasher. The mixing was as as can be. Total disappoinment. Track selection was good, but he just didnt bring it together.
Tiesto totally owned that nite. A few flaws in his mixing but compared to pvds set it was smooth!
so lets have less of the "DJ Trainwrecking Tiesto" and stop talking e |

mikey you wernt there, pvd's track selection was ing DIRE!!! but he mixed way better than tiesto that night, tiesto's mixing made even mine look good! (note: i dont own decks or DJ) Tiesto picked loads of amazing tracks but his mixing was nowhere near better than pvd's, but pvd' wasnt exactly good anyway! but all in all i wud of rather of stayed in the tiesto arena and thats a dead cert... |

ok fair enuff. I was comparing them to what i heard on the radio. A few of Paul Van Dyks tracks he played in the first hour i thought were amazing. Same with Tiesto. I really enjoyed what i heard of his set. Overall from what i heard, I enjoyed Tiesto over PVD. |

| Some Dj's who produce tunes become a DJ from producing. Bet there's a lot of lower ranked Dj's or even bedroom Dj's that could mix better than big Dj's |
