My case was much worse; my battery first crapped out, lasted me about 15-30 minutes before i needed to recharge.

After that, my hard drive failed.

The new keyboards are actually quite nice once you get used to them. theyre not that big of a deal after a while, i was hesitant too when i got them at work, but this was months ago and everything is cool now. its weird going home to my mac though, with the last generation of keyboards (the transparent one).

As for the 'mighty' mouse. I agree completely, its garbage. The dumbest thing apple did was make the pressure point where you hold the mouse by your thumb and your pinky finger a ing BUTTON. What.....the.....?

thumb and pinkey? wow, i didn't even know that, who would ever think that's useful?

Just out of curiosity, how racist are you? Sexist?

:conf:

It just seems pretty clear that you enjoy making assumptions based entirely on appearances, so I guess it makes sense to me that your intolerance would extend into all facets of your personality, and isn't just reserved for people who you think buy the wrong computer.

Either way, I find people like you hilarious. Preach on, brother man, preach on.

If people are buying products that are based upon design rather than technological aspects... such as a macbook, which are drastically overpriced in respect to their specs... isn't that somewhat pretentious?

And that's a far cry from making assumptions that I, or others, judge others based upon appearances. If I see a girl wearing a $1000 purse next to a girl who is wearing a $10 canal street purpose, don't they warrant judgements about their personalities? That one is into at least owning pretentious fashion, the other perhaps more financially conservative?

I think it's pretty funny that you say you aren't making any assumptions in the same breath as making one.

The fact of the matter is you are doing exactly that - assuming. Assuming solely on the basis of what you see, you know someone.

If you don't like it, don't blame me for pointing out what's obvious from your own posts - you're the only one who can change the way you act.

i thinkk it's pretty easy to spot someone who sucks balls when they have not only an overpriced cup of coffee but a matching overpriced piece of computer to go with it.

were I to meet you at a club and smack the beer out of your hand, you would probably (and rightfully so) at least assume that was a really dick move, if not that I was an . But wahh you don't even know me!

If you're making claim to not ever assume things about anyone, you're probably lying. Thats just ridiculous. Since when did assuming things become a bad thing anyway?

So basically you're equating the ability to infer something from someones actions with how they look to you?

Yup, those two things are exactly the same. FFS.

All I know is, the battery on my ipod died after four years (out of warranty), I sent it in with a $50 check, and today I got a brand new 20 gig ipod in the mail.

My fan died on my Dell, and I sent it in.... and well, I was without a computer for 2 months. And then it came back and it died again. And I sent it in... and now it is struggling again. :(

I just wanted to quote this last little bit one more time for the pure idiocy of it.
