Strangely nuff, the hypocrites in this thread moaning about how offended they are by a picture that is has been widely available on the net are the same hypocrites that just live to stir up in other threads... (don't believe me, search for the drama threads and take note of the people who start and contribute the most to the topics)
As far as I'm concerned, this is an issue that's more close to what TA should be about then some of the garbage threads that have been polluting TA for years now.
Only one moron in this thread has disrespected the young man who passed away. The rest of us are trying to figure out if having a pack of vials next to his photo was appropriate or not. There are arguments to support both sides of that issue....but the sensitive tota's around here would rather everyone shut up about it. Forget about it completely so they can promote their next lousy gig and we can all go about like this never happened.

It's ok to hype up big parties...it's ok to hype up clubs, it's ok to form a clique and big yourself up when you spin at one of these clubs but when something serious happens at one of them we're all supposed to keep quiet and pretend like nothing happened. (not only keep quiet, but look the other way cause our talking about it here is the reason the place gets shut down...not the rampant drug use, not the untimely death of a young man, but the fact we are talking about it - this is the twisted / selfish perspective these people have)
Lets not discuss it because we're offending people. Never mind that there might be some valuable lessons that other people might learn. Never mind that someone out there might actually see this and think...hey, maybe I need to reevaluate the path I'm on.
Selfish pricks abound on this forum, and it's frightening to think what would happen if they had the rule of this place. |

Maybe they feel guilty. Maybe they feel just a little bit responsible (OMG, what's the word doing here on TOTA??!!).
Maybe just maybe they're a little afraid that what happened to him, on any other day could have happened to them. If so, isn't that a good reason why we as a community shouldn't just gloss over this tragic event. There are lessons to be learnt here. But are we going to be brave enough to learn them...or are we going to get 'offended' call each other names and just sweep this tragedy under the carpet so we can talk about where we're all going clubbing next week. |
