Do you find also that you have a different wardrobe for back home?
My closet is practically split in half: stuff I wear in Canada/stuff I wear in Polska

track pants in europe = you're a bum... don't matter if they're TNA or 725 Originals
I'd love to have someone correct me on this but I have found it true in France, Germany and Poland

Exactly. If you complain about pressure on how to dress in Toronto, stay away from France!

I don't understand what is wrong with dressing nicely. Is your complaint stemming from the fact that you feel insecure in what you are wearing while walking around the city?

I'm sorry, but you cannot possibly generalize this broadly. What exactly constitutes "Toronto girls"? How do you know that based on the girls that you come in contact with, you can make an accurate generalization on all the girls in Toronto? I'm assuming the girls that you come in contact with are a) from your place of work b) from the club scene, and maybe some other social circles. What about all the infinite number of social circles that you are not apart of or do not have contact with such as religious groups, special interest groups, ethnic groups, age groups, etc? If the category "Toronto girls" had a fairly homogenous population, then perhaps maybe you could make these generalizations. However, this is clearly not the case.

I can admit when Im wrong. I should of said "The Toronto Girls that I have come across"

6 feet tall?!?!?!?!
I thought I was tall @ 5'9"!!!
Damn girl.., it's nice to know that there are other tall girls that feel a bit insecure about their height. I've always felt that way, and in turn, I've grown up wearing sneakers or flats all the time. I RARELY ever dress up, but i'm cool with that. When i DO dress up and wear heels... I feel like i'm a lanky tower.
LOL
preppie chick
I love how UGGs have been hated on since 2004 yet there's still kickin'... lol

I've worn them for the past 4 winters and can honestly say that for me they are the perfect winter shoes... even when i'm walking in the snow which i do... a lot.

They may not be the nicest looking boots (according to some) but they do serve their purpose... and are so damn comfy!! so people can keep on hating on them cause guess what? people like me will still wear them...

Whenever a tall girl walks into the room all the boys stare (sorry thats a mass generalization *All the boys that I see* :tongue2). Legs are HOT. But I think with height confidence is key.

You're absolutely right!
Growing up i NEVER had the confidence because i was always the tallest one in my class... but now i can honestly say that I'm much more confident than ever before. It also helps to have a tall boyfriend that boosts my confidence about my height and also encourages me to wear high heels :)
