Who really thinks Budweiser is THAT bad?

im a bartender at the Four Seasons Miami. and ive always found our selection of draft beer to be rather odd. weve got Heineken, Amstel Light and Bass. for s sake we have a limited selection as it is... 3 ing beers and they decide to go with all imports. 2 dutch and and english beer. i dunno if its just me but when i go to a restaurant or bar i EXPECT to see some sort of domestic beer bud or miller(preferably not)..
so i approach my food and beverage director about adding bud to the draft selection and he looks at me with a face of utter disbelief and shock as to why i would ever want a domestic beer added. he went on to explain how many of our guests are international and we should stick with the higher end beers. yet how many american guests do we get that would just love to have a bud. its not like it wouldnt sell for s sake. i for one dont mind bud as its refreshing and drinkable in large quantities.

i agree... if youre looking for taste and body to a beer. but that still doesnt go to say bud wont outsell any of the 3 beers we currently serve on tap. |
