holden played Disco Lunar Module when i first saw him a couple years ago. was insane. those big countdown style sweeps omg!
Rendezvous At Rimini!!! Great, great!
Here i found a few more:
One of Legowelt's first tracks. More electro but still good!
Legowelt- "Gina Fly To Space"
Awesome electro/italo by I-F!
I-F- "Secret Desire"
An experimental electronic/ambient side-project by basic Legowelt man. This guy is really crazy, he records under various pseudonyms and creates whole concept stories in his albums with occult secret societies, secret agents, cosmic monsters, mysterious incidents etc.! (See the fantastic album Squadra Blanco- "Night of The Illuminati" lp!). Whats more crazy is his studio, comprised of countless huge analogue synthesizers-i don't thing he uses a computer at all! I thing he hates the majority of modern electronic music because it is not organic! Thats the spirit lol!
Franz Falckenhaus- "Stories From My Cold War"

We are not arguing that they are no genres outside EDM. Ofcourse there are, genres outside EDM is what keeps me musically sane! We are arguing about the state within EDM (which IMO is not good). There are always good stuff in music, and the years 2006 and 2007 were some AMAZING years for music (non-EDM!).
My statement still stands whether we're talking about music within or outside the boudaries of EDM. :)

Yeah I def like the legowelt tracks. Not too into the other italo, neo-italo or w/e examples. Some of it's all right. But all the legowelt so far I like a lot. Not so much his other names. I def like that it's all analog. Shoot...making those tracks with all analog equip and no computer. That's just aweseome. I'd love to have the gear to do that one day.

YES! A few weeks ago. Very promising, but I'm not sure it breaks the house mold enough to really start a movement. Feel-good house is a reliable standby, but can it really dominate the industry again? I'm not so sure. The "break glass in case of emergency" house vibe seems to have already been used in 2004 with mainstream hits like Lola's Theme, but it wasn't enough to save the scene or start a snowball.

I don't even know what to say to this...
Do I like it?
I'll decide later.

Holy Crap...I was wondering if the name legowelt actually had to do with legos. I haven't watched this whole vid yet but yes...it actually has to do with legos. He said legowelt means "like playing with lego. Building your own world. And that's what I do with my synthesizers." Sweet stuff.
