Cevapi has one origin - Bosnia - and there aren't really that many variables in the preparation. |
Cevapi (Cevapcici) were brought to the region from Turkey (kebab) and were perfected :) There are 3 or 4 different variations, few of those being: Leskovacki (Serbia), Sarajevski (Bosnia) and Banjalucki (RS, Bosnia)... |

I prefer weekdays because it makes me happy all day at work that day (and the day before as the anticipation builds)...anything to make a dull day brighter, I say! ;)
Weekends are more restrictive for me, but majority goes...(except for Swamper...he's such a despot! :p) |

Thanks for posting Kamila :) I would love to have some cevapi so add me to the list!
Weekends would work better for me. Either afernoons or evenings.
The earlier we figure out the date the better. 2nd weekend in May sounds good to me.
As for the place, I have not been to MacAdam but have heard really good things and would like to try their food. Here is the link http://www.mcadamplace.com/index.htm
BTW the English version menu looks like scaled down version of what they actually make. |

Yeah, as Xavier said, they have some awesome meat platters, but honestly, besides the Karadjordjeva kobasica, nothing else they have there is really that great. |

Karadjordjeva SNICLA :) - for this dish, go to VESLO in Kitchener. Trust me, I've almost tried them all, and VESLO has the best! |

If your name is not on the list and you'd like to attend, please notify me or post a reply mentioning so in this thread, and we'll add you! We should know exactly how many people want to come, in case we need to make reservations or have to take into account the seating capacity of each place that we're considering.
Also, would the second or third week in May be fine with everybody? I'm thinking around Saturday, May 11th or Saturday, May 18th...
I'll keep you all updated... thanx! :) |
