They're exhilirating. I have weird dreams, all the time. I wouldn't call it lucid, but I consciously know that when I am dreaming it's all a dream, so I'm aware that what is happening is not real, and my subconscious usually takes over and sends me on a wicked adventure. :D

i lucid dream quite often sometimes dunno why but i had 3 lucid dreams in a week once :P

Since last Wednesday, I've become lucid 4 times already. I say " have become lucid" rather than "had lucid dreams" because I don't put a bound on their length or on how many I have that night. Most of mine this past week have been very weak, but at least one was pretty decent. I thank this thread! The more you read about lucid dreaming, the better your chances of experiencing it...

Whoa... 3 reasonably long lucid dreams last night, making it a total of 5 nights in the past week!

i just had a dream within a dream and in that dream i realized that i was dreaming and that the dream was a recurring dream.

had a lucid dream again last night :P wierd because i was traped in my house and there was fire downstairs and i was by the window upstairs, my only way out was to jump outta the window then somehow i knew i was dreaming then thought i'll try flying outta the window and it worked :P was an amazing feeling!.

The jumping/flying experience often leads people to become lucid. Not sure what it is. Could be the visceral feel that 'wakes you up'.

You ever tried fighting to stay asleep during lucid dreaming? once i vaguely remember when i was lucid dreaming i was slowly coming round to waking up fully, but fighting to stay asleep and remain in lucid dreaming? i suceeded but got woke up by the baby crying :(

you spin around in your dream, it should work.

It's about time to revive the best thread on TA :)

Spinning like a top is definitely a good one, and so is rubbing your hands together vigorously. Anything that gives you a visceral physical feeling helps to keep you in the dream.

I find lucid dreaming to be scary :nervous:

you can control so much yet still not have control at all :)
