eh, i haven't forgot about lucid dreaming. the thing is that with school in progress i'm much more stressed and i don't have time in the morning to remember / record my dreams. it was much better in the summer when i at least could force myself to dream of some place or something relating to that place...
and if you think you're having ed up dreams, talk to my buddy who always dreams up how he kills his family and cuts his wrists, blows his own brains out, or breaks lotsa bones in his body... en weird... i told him he needs therapy and he said i am his therapist... wtf lol |

I can do this sometimes, to a degree. Its pretty funny, but I can sculpt my dreams to what I want. I wish it happend more often though ;) |

ive been able to hav lucid dreams for a couple years, about 4 or 5. it wasnt a continuous thing, i still had normal dreaming (waking up and being disapointed in myself for believing the dream was real) but it happened on occasions, or when i actually tried to.
but over the past year or so, ive had the 'out of body' or so called experience when i wake up but im still paralyzed w/ a piercing noise in my ears. the first time it was just wtf is going on but the next couple were quite scary, felt like something evil was trying to take over my body or something. i overcame those, by just confronting it and saying wtf u want and the such and then after that id wake up normally. now when it happens its just oh its happening again. i found i can overcome it by simply just closing my eyes again (physically or mentally?) and then going back into normal sleep. i think i can explain the evil feeling because in that state, ur mind is still unstable (reality wise) and it drifts between ur thots quite rapidly, more so focusing on ones you are actively trying to avoid (like something evil tryin to get u). so yea i can control that now no biggie.
now lucid dreaming for me occurs occasionaly but usually just ends up wit me having an encounter wit any females i want so yeh..:toocool: |

thats what i did when i had an OBE, it felt exhausting to be in that state so i let go and went back to sleep. later i was dreaming again but when i looked at my watch the second hand was moving, which it wasn't sposed to do, so i didn't go lucid again
thats the sort of dream i wouldn't mind ;) |

Sorry for bringing this thread back, but I just want to say thank you to SgtFoo for writing this post. I tried it on my girlfriend twice and it worked perfectly!!!! Thank you very much, you've taught me a wonderful technique!
By the way, where did you learn about this?

i finally found the time to write this up....enjoy...and trust me it worx...so far i;ve had 12 >victims"
several girls have been made nude, guys been embarassed in several ways and various ppl have been entertained.
ok....the person has to be relaxed and you have to be relaxed. it's best done by a friend or a person of trusted value.
have the "victim" lie down on a bed or couch or grass or something of that sort, he/she should close their eyes and tell him/her to relax, and take at least 5 to 10 deep breaths. note: do this in an environment with minimal loudness or distractions.
Then start to gently rub each index finger with middle finger on each of the victim's temples (rub the temples untill the end of the entire session). (btw: you can have a pillow under the head, you'll figure wether or not its necessary).
tell them to breath relaxed and start to slowly and calmly count down from 99 to 0, or 0 to 99, which ever is easier for them.
during this process tell them not to concentrate.
Next.. the victim should start to mix up or jumble numbers, tell them to make sure you can hear them , but the order of the counting doesn't matter...it means they're slipping under into "subconscious".
let them breath calmly for another 10 seconds and then tell them that they will count to 5 and at 5 they will be in dreamy state and all things they do in this state will be acted out at best while they're lying down (ex: if they must walk to something, they should simulate walking onthe bed while lying down). after that, ask them if they can "see" anything [in the dream state]. If they say yes: continue beyond the NO step.. If they say no: tell them that they will count from 5 to 0 and when they hit 0 they will be awake and relaxed and rejuvenated or whatever junk.
so they said yes....
ask them what they see. if they see blackness tell them to look around in the "environment"..if the blackness has nothing in it...wake them up with the "No" reply method above. if they see things... like trees, or people... from there on you can pretty much tell them what to do in the environment.
note at this point... don't agitate them with extreme situations...thats only for sessions that have been longer than 30 minutes or so. you can ask them deep secrets, but if they refuse to answer let it go, besides some secrets are secret for a reason.
You must be calm and direct and mostly precise in your dictations otherwise the victim will become confused. if you want things to simply appear...you must make it credible.... example:if you want them to find a person, tell them that "the person is hidden behind the tree over there", and they should walk over and see them there.
Try not to have sessions last longer than an hour and a half, the temples get red and your fingers get tired and it's just not good..s ome ppl report headaches as side effex.
So finally...to wake them up...tell them that they will count from 5 to 0 and when they hit 0, they will be awake and either forget or remember everything that has hapenned in the "dream" and they will fell relaxed... at that point take your fingers off the temples and greet them from they're dream that you have created!.
tada! done! |

Lucid dreams re great.. i ve had lucid dreams since 98-99
But Out of Body Experiences (OBE) are what give me more curiosity.. i have a friend that swears that he had those experiences.. when he knows he is awake and his soul leaves his body,...
I ve never had anything like that besides some "paralysis" that has happened to me only 3 times in my life, all of them when i was under extreme lack of sleep circunstances..
I was going to bed, then fell asleep very fast.. but it wasnt a normal dream.. i heard LOUD noises around me, and felt like i was in a russian mountain... then i woke up (opened my eyes) and continued listening to that noise.. i tried to move but i couldnt.. i knew i was awake, i had my eyes open, i could see my desk and the window...
After I realized I couldnt move, I tried to scream.. but I couldn't scream neither.
Then, after a few moments (seconds?) i could move and speak again...
I rushed to my PC and searched the net for weird stuff like that.. I found out that what happened was that my body thought i was still sleeping, and that the mechanism that stops me from moving/speaking in real life when I move/speak in a dream was still on...
Anyone has experienced something like this? |
every month, except without the imaginary warping places. |

OBE's and sleep paralysis are WAY different, in OBE's you can go anywhere you want |

is it unusual to be aware that you are dreaming while you are actually dreaming?
i dream like that everynight, well mainly from about 9am -12am when i should have got up but am still unnecessarily asleep :D |

Years ago the strangest thing happened in my dream. Not scary just very interesting, i guess it runs along the lines of lucid dreaming but more along the lines of the enviroment that was around me.
I was sitting in church with my classmates as usual listening to the priest, i was switching on and off while listening. Everytime i switched on he'd be talking about a completely different topic. As soon as i turned my attention away from him he seemed to vanish.
While speaking to the person next to me it seemed as though i was talking to 10 different people, everyytime i looked away and looked back there would be a different person with a different voiuce speaking to me (usually crapping on about useless )
The strangest thing in my dream would have to be this, as i was talking to this person next to me my whole vision completely turned white, when it went to normal again i was staning up in the same place as i was sitting. Nothing had changed except that i was standing, yet another different person who was next to me said "Hey, you don't sit here. You sit overrrrrrrr..." he started to point. All of a sudden i'm woken up by my brother by him grabbing my arm and yelling "THERE"
Wierd but very, very interesting. |

Watch the movie, "Waking Life".
It's an independant film, but they cover lucid dreaming quite well..
(oh yea...you better be ready for a deep phylisophical movie too) |
