Anybody been in a relationship where your gf / bf has been uninterested in sex for a long time (2+ months)? I'm not talking about things that might physically prevent them from having sex like pregnancy or illness or infection, but just lack of interest for no obvious reason.
What did / would you do?
And if the person basically refused to talk with you about why they were uninterested and how that might be changed, what would you do then?

if i wake up in the middle of the night and realize Sasha (my kitty) is not snuggled up next to me, i get really uneasy and find it hard to fall back asleep. sometimes i'll even get out of bed and go find him and bring him back with me. he's been a snuggler ever since he was a kitten, and almost every night i'll wake up to him burrowing his little nose under the covers so he can curl up in my arms. it's ridiculous the way he cuddles sometimes... like he actually forces me to spoon him and throws himself onto my face/neck/shoulder/chest area to be close to my heartbeat.
i love it. :D
lol i do the same thing w/ my dog:haha: :haha:
also fledz, i'm totally not going over there. and i call big spoon. or at least, if i have to be little spoon, you have to tuck that away :wtf:

I remember in grade 10 religion class, we learned about maslow's hierarchy of basic needs. one of the five was:
Needs of Love, Affection and Belongingness
When the needs for safety and for physiological well-being are satisfied, the next class of needs for love, affection and belongingness can emerge. Maslow states that people seek to overcome feelings of loneliness and alienation. This involves both giving and receiving love, affection and the sense of belonging.
And yes, I would agree. Living alone and stranded is not something I would want to look forwards to, in fact, one of the last things, along with death.

Here, I'll summarise the whole thing:
iammesol finds a girl and says "Yo, wanna be my girl?"
She says "Yeah, sure. So, what do we do?"
iammesol - "You know, we hang".
Her - "Oh, cool"
iammesol - "Yeah"
Her - "Yup"
2 months later
iammesol - "Wanna kiss?"
Her - "Oh, cool"
iammesol - "Yeah"
Both - *slurp*
lol... not exactly, but if that's how you view it :p

I love touching. Everyone in my family does. But in Poland we hug, kiss, lay on each other, it's no big deal.
Here in the US it's weird, because my first reaction is to kiss on the cheek but 1 of 3 things happen - 1. People think you're into them. 2. People are confused. or 3. People freak out. So now I just kind of stand there and kind of judge the "warmth" of someone else.
I lay all over everyone, I don't care :)
I've cuddled with just about every friend I have, boy or girl.
And don't even get me started on how much I like touching before, during, and after sex. :D I also love when my guy gives my ass a nice grab. Nothing sexier than the grab-ass-pulling-you-in-close touching. :tongue3

I think this is the European way period. I have never known anyone from Europe to NOT be this way. Russian friends, a couple French friends that were here on an exchange program of sorts, and the German exchange students I met in high school. It is just common place for them.

True.
I just like to wrap myself around people. Literally. lol. I've got long ass legs, they stretch far. I'm throwin' my legs across SOMEONE!

i love being around family members where i can hug them and openly say "i love you" and mean it and know that they mean it when they say it back.

i think it's so adorable when someone from outside the US wants to kiss a cheek or kiss a hand as a form of greeting. you just don't see that often enough!

Yeah tell me about it. I have 2 girlfriends, the rest are boys. And I've spent the night with all of them lol (not sex, just sleeping). I'm a cuddle master.
I hate those surveys that are like "who have you kissed in your top 8?" I'm like "uh... all of them?" :disbelief
