There's some truth to this, I guess. I once read that, "just as men like to invest their time buying car stereos and tuning their vehicles, women like to work on relationships, improving their partners".

I tend to hate this kind of generalisation regarding genders but, well, maybe it's not as inaccurate as we may think.

It isn't an inappropriate generalization. This can be seen in that most women will date a guy and try to change him. When doesn't go her way, she leaves him. Sometimes it is short, and other times it is years later. Sad truth really.

What about a girl who also likes to hang out with your friends? ;)

Eh, also creates problems in the long run though. With my ex, we had been together nearly 4 years, so all our friends were mixed together, and it sucked because you never had anyone to lean on when things were going awry. Plus, then your s.o. knows EVERYTHING you do! Not that you'd be doing anything wrong but you always feel like you're part of big brother. :wtf:

I decided after that I'd get along with the guys friends, even hang out on my own with them every now and again, but not to make it a habit of adopting their friends. I still hang out with my friends on a regular basis, and then I'll go hang out with him & his friends once a week or so. Otherwise they become like "DUDE, WHY is your girlfriend ALWAYS coming along?!" whipped. :o

Although I do notice females can't help but bond with boyfriends friends girlfriends. It's like second nature. :toothless

I can not have a GF that is attached to my arm. I can't ing handle a gf ALWAYS around me. She has to have her own friends, her own things she does with them etc. It bugs the out of me if I can't have time with my buddies without the need to take her. I thankfully, have never had to deal with this. Hopefully I won't be a dumb and allow this to happen in the future.

I don't think I'm a bad gf to have around all the time.

I only go out with my boyfriend and we both hardly hang out with other friends. We do go to clubs and parties.. But usually see amd meet ppl there that we know, there. I kinda like it.

Sometimes i wish i had my girlfriends here but ...... knowing them it prob wouldn't be a good thing.
Allied Nations
i have my own close friends, she has her own close friends and we both have a bunch of mutual party friends... she does her own thing, i do mine... we've been living together last couple months and it's been super easy-

my girlfriend is the coolest.
