LOL. Exactly.

She adores New York and lives, with two roommates, in a $3,450-a-month three-bedroom apartment on the Lower East Side, verily the center of the universe for Manhattan’s young and hip.

:haha:

Good lord, every time I read about "young Manhattanites" I get the sense that they're the most insular and self-centered little pricks in the world, in spite of their living in such a diverse city and their pretenses to cosmopolitanism.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the appeal of moving away to a new and different place, but the line between foolishly running off for the sake of going and actually being able to manage the quality of life you want is pretty fine - and one that I think a lot of people completely fail to see.

New York and L.A. are just kind of the classic examples of places where kids from the Midwest take off for without thinking about how different and taxed it is to live in those cities as opposed to ing Omaha.

I just can't understand how any of these kids fail to realize that it's generally not so easy as "just going."

Tough ing . No hair dye, Ipods or steak. Is this a ing joke? If the bitch chooses $25 Dior mascara over a days worth of meals, she deserves to starve. No pity at all.

Can't be stated any better than that. Even making decent money, living in a city that expensive would be an endless ing river of stress. I'd only live there if I were wiping my ass with hundred dollar bills.

This brings me around to what I've been saying for the past couple of months; bring on the high prices, because it teaches everyone who appreciates "America" that they were very ing lucky, and now they need to stop needlessly spending on excessive wants.

Seriously, I don't know what all of the "hubbub" is about. "OH , HOW WILL I AFFORD MY FLAT SCREEN TV OR MY SUV!?" off. You don't need it. Get a normal TV or a normal car. We're so full of ing wants that the second we can't afford what is a luxurious lifestyle compared to a fair portion of the world, we bricks. You can get by with just the basics even with food and gas prices so high. They keyword here is 'basics.' I haven't had to change all about my lifestyle with prices on the rise because I only buy what I need and save and hold off for the wants when I can afford them. Quit ing being such senseless ing morons. s sake.

/end "I had to listen to two co-workers complain about high prices for nine hours today and wanted to slap them" rant

Ha. Yeah. New York has never appealed to me, even if I was wiping my ass with hundred dollar bills. Now, South America and on the coast and I'd never have to buy TP again.

It is too bad we don't have more people with common sense in the world. This damn allowing the idiots to really survive, sucks ass. They need to fail, and fail hard.
