| that doesn't make sense to me. if you can't afford to freaking eat real meals then you have a problem. i manage to live in nyc (with ONE roommate), eat, go out and have fun. if there was ever a moment where i felt i was sacrificing my standard of living just to live here i would move out. it makes me wonder what they are actually DOING with the money they make. |

I don't think it's a matter of sacrifice, it's probably more about the ability to conform to trends and standards, where the lack of ability relies on financial freedom.
IF anything, our standard of living is significantly increased as manhattanites. To me it's been quite a relief to evacuate the city, to step out into the country and be isolated because frankly, I feel desensitized by living in manhattan. It's too much..I took too much..too much man too much. |
