Oh man, in the same boat. I'm freaking out. I hate dentists. All 4 need to be pulled. I want lots of drugs & paid short term disability from my work establishment.

For what it's worth, my dentist told me I'd have to have all four removed. Eight years later I've still got 'em all, and I haven't had any problems with them. I'm not saying that would be the case for you, but in my experience they just tell everyone to get them out whether it's necessary or not. ing dentists.
Warble
I had mine done with laughing gas.
Tried to get him to put me under, but he wouldn't.

It sucked IMO
Could feeling them twisting and pulling my teeth out, even tho my whole face was completly numb.
laughing gas didn't really make a difference, wears off instantly.

My face looked socked up for about a weak or so, was really sore.
Then got infected.
They did only one side at a time so had to go twice..

I would recommend going under if you can.

+1

I only had local anesthesia. I loved it. I got to see him do everything. It was quite interesting. The next day I was eating solid food and didn't need to take any pain pills. They took out all 4

I didn't have any direct problems with mine either, but they were starting to cause the early onset of cavities after I have had them for like 6 years. They also made 1 tooth partially twisted, but no big deal otherwise. I had all 4 removed so that I could have no worries about cavities.

i did all 4 at once.. was asleep so i dont remember anything but a little pain in the next 2 days.

The grossest part of the whole process is squirting water from that water serenge a couple days later in the holes where the teeth used to be and seeing a bunch of little chucks of food come washing out. :nervous:

I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this where I said it feels like being a character in the latest SAW movie. It felt like the guy was tearing my head apart.
