GAH!! So I had my 2 bottom teeth taken out on Wednesday, and I am in so much ing pain I want to drown myself.
It's awful.
I think I have developed dry sockets :(
How long did it take for you to recover from extractions? |

| You need to take your pain meds on a strict regimen. Always take anticipatory doses (as in, take it 30 mins before you know you're going to experience pain), because it's harder to manage pain once it's already gotten severe. Basically, don't wait to feel pain before you take drugs...just take the drugs and take them regularly. :p |

They gave me 600mg apo-ibuprofen and T3's. All the T3's are gone and the 600mg ibuprofen isn't doing . Tonight I have been in so much pain that I resorted to leftover Percocets from the surgery I had in April for my tumor... and I still want to drown myself.
Seriously... this ing sucks.
Is it safe to take a 600mg ibuprofen with a Percocet? Maybe the combo will actually do something. |

they didn't give you vickies? WTF?! poor gurl :(
cheer up - the pain shouldn't last more than a week, really. unless you've got problems/complications. in which case, it could last longer :( |

i've had two root canals. the first one didn't hurt because the nerve was already dead. they didn't even give me novaccaine for it.
the 2nd one was sucky - iw as in the chair for almost 3 hours. |

part that hurt the most is when they put the little metal band around the tooth then push it upwards rly hard :(

| On my way to the dentists right now to have them check me out. I suspect that there is something wrong given the amount of pain I have been in. :( |
