Absolutely nothing, oh well.

You like mass marketed, generic, cheesy, chart music and mass marketed, generic, overpriced, popular DJ equipment. Seems as apt an analogy as any I've ever seen, and when you couple that with the absolutely dreadful reasons you've given for preferring the 800, one is only left wondering how anyone actually interested in DJ'ing can buy such clear BS.

Anything else anyone needs cleared up?

Oh yeah - this works. Please use it.

This whole Xone superiority complex is so ridiculous it's funny. "Oh the filters, the layering of my tech house clickety clack crap." Sorry we can't all be as "advanced" as you in your musical taste and mixer choices.

Obviously some mixers are better for different styles. You're diverting attention from you original post and the fact that you're making fun of someone based on their mixer choice (which isn't exactly shabby) and the tracks they play like some cranky, immature, 13 year old kid.

It would be a lot funnier if it weren't so true to reality. Look at what a majority of people use each mixer for, and it pretty much speaks for itself. Also, if you think this amounts to a superiority complex you should see what the Rane rotary crowd has to say about any mixer with faders :stongue:

About as mature as calling it "tech house clickety clack crap" :stongue:

I don't think RJT was particularly tactful in his post, especially since I know Woody personally and he's a great guy, but the points he raised were...true. Countering with "Woody has more gigs" only served to illustrate the point.

Both mixers are useful, I've played on the 800 loads of times and enjoyed the punchy bass in certain situations, but by and large, for people who like MIXING, and blending music, the Xone is just better. We could post a list of DJ preferences and it would speak for itself.
