I'm trying to think of where I liked her, not just cause she was mothering adorable, but theres really nothing where she's ever been better than "ok". |
I guess the silver lining is that I didn't think she ever ruined any movies (even the SW prequels - Hayden Christenson and George Lucas did that well enough on their own).
Dunno, guess I'm just 50/50. |

| Scarlett is a far, far better actress. |

Hayden Christensen ruined Star Wars for the majority if the fans. Worse move Lucas made in the series for sure. |

I think the only movie I have seen her in was Lost in Translation, and that one was just not for me.
Then again, I also hated the Royal Tennenbaums the first time I saw it and have thought about giving that another chance again... so we'll see. |

man I just dunno how you can hate those two. I get that some people aren't into LIT but Tennenbaums is ing solid gold. Danny Glover vs. Gene Hackman = win
And Scarlett's best film was Ghost World imo. Check that out. |

Was there any actor/actress that had a good performance in the prequels, though? |

| I love both Garden State and Lost In Translation, so win win for me. More things to enjoy, less things hate. |

Hmmmm. The CG character who played Dex, the diner owner?
:p
Seriously though, Christopher Lee and Liam Nieson were both pretty sound, but beyond that - you're absolutely right. |

Well, I haven't seen the Tennenbaums in years, so it could just be a matter of changing tastes over time. Lost in Translation was just paced too slowly for me - so maybe I just didn't appreciate the subtle aspects of it that people enjoyed so much. Don't know though, I just remember being very, very bored. |

My favourite movie is Godfather Part 2.
Nope, no sarcasm here. |

I didn't get The Tenenbaums until second or third watch. It definitely grew on me, though I'd rate Rushmore or Life Aquatic higher. |
