| I lived alone in a studio for awhile and paid about $1100 for it - now I'm living with three other guys and my rent went down $500/month. Best decision of my life. Lots more fun, shared cooking duties, and a little extra cash at the end of each month. |

Hey jake just make the most of it. Maybe you might not like one or two of the guys at certain points but you'll on the whole be having ace times. If you get pissed just goto your room and chill no worries.
You'll still have "your own place" (your room) but will have to speak to people when you might be in a ty mood. I'd say just use them as bitching platforms to release stress lol. |

| Once i buy my own place i will rent out. Imagine how much you save in on the mortgage! You can literally buy your house at 1/2 the cost. |

Basically a one room flat. The kitchen/bedroom/living area is all lumped together sans individual rooms. |

The only way I would pick up roommates to save $440 a month is if it was 3 smoking hot chicks who all wanted to be no commitment buddies.
Otherwise, it's not worth $110 a week to me to share a bathroom and kitchen with other people. With that many roommates someone is going to end up being and ass and trashing the place but then too lazy to clean up or bringing a bunch of loud ing drunks home after the bars close at 3am on a Sunday night because they are all jobless douches while you are trying to sleep so you can get up at 5am for work.
But in your case, if you really can't afford the rent at your place you don't really have another option. |
