You make it sound as if things are alot different then they were in 2005.Have you been watching the news lately? people are dying there almost everyday.Or are you purposely trying to ignore the facts like your president does?

yes. religiously. internet, tv, pubs whatever i can get.

people die everywhere, everyday. look at Chicago right now or Detroit two years ago.

if Krypton is as smart as he thinks he is he would appreciate trends in violence as opposed to picking dates arbitrarily. he posts incidences of current violence but ignores the trend. why doesn't he post THIS WEEK IN IRAQ 2007 or 2006 for example along with THIS WEEK IN IRAQ 2008? because it doesn't fit the message he's trying to convey to you. which is the wrong message btw.

absolutely not. i'm here almost everyday defending Iraq and what is going on. it would be impossible for me to do that by ignoring facts.

Are you really comparing Chicago and Detroit to Iraq? :stongue: :stongue:

Because a high murder rate is soooo the same thing as having roadside bombs and terrorist attacks every single day.

Violence is down, that is fantastic. It is still not at a level tolerable for a functioning civil society...

LOL...Your mind is in fairy land if you believe Iraq is on its way to becoming a unified liberal democracy. Have fun entertaining that thought...;)

If you say I'm smart, I guess I am. You will never hear me say, "believe me b/c I'm smart"...

And what about the trend? Because there isn't a suicide bombing every day, but one every week or two, things are all of a sudden great? Millions of Iraqis are displaced internally, and externally, about 1/4 of the population. And in the elections you so routinely hold up as a triumph, well...guess what? Sunnis vote for Sunnis, Kurds for Kurds, and Shiites for Shiites. Hell, most of them vote according to who they're told to vote for...yea, great liberal democracy there...And any government which can't even function without the assistance of an foreign occupation army is nothing more than a puppet government, pure and simple.

Tell me, do people die from road side bombs, suicide bombings, and helocopter gunships in Detroit or Chicago EVER EVER EVER??

Wowwww....Chicago - Iraq...Chicago - Iraq...:stongue: :haha: what a shame...:(

i think it's a horrible idea and so do Iraqis. >LINK<

a successfull Iraq is a united Iraq. they advocate that idea throughout their Constitution.

The trend is IRRELEVANT. Iraq is a failed state whether you accept that or not. Propagandist...LOL...try realist...Funny you can only quote me on one sentence but can't answer me on your completely MYOPIC (<--Your favorite word!!) comparison between US urban crime, and occupation zone Iraq. I asked you several questions which you apparently don't want to answer...

Stay out of the way of what? Your radical militarist authoritarianism ing up our great Republic... LOL.. In your dreams!!! You've yet to call me out on ANYTHING. In your world, Iraq is on its way towards becoming a unified liberal democratic beacon in the middle East. Here is a little dose of reality. Once the Americans withdraw, the Iraqi government will undergo three potential scenarios.

1. Government collapses in a coup, revolution, etc.
2. Iraqis in a unified country elect a theocratic Shiite government loyal to Iran.
3. The country splits off into 3 separate states.

You also still have not even addressed the humanitarian crisis that is 4-5 million civilians internally/externally displaced by your beloved crusade...:o You call this success? I call it just more fairy land dilusions...

you just made that up. you're not James Baker.

anyhow, you're conveniently missing one "potential scenario". one that is common theme throughout most ME that have various ethnic groups governed under one autonomous government.
