If all drugs were legalized, would more people become addicts? (pg. 6)

You're entitled to your own opinion but a lot of people grow awesome bud outside. I know the Mexican strains can get up to 2m which is a lot of weight. My best friend has an associates in horticulture so I'm sure between the both of us we could be pulling down quite a few pounds. |
It isn't an opinion, and I'm not new to this. Random people cannot just grow good pot by shooting in the dark or tossing some seeds outside, and weight =/= quality.
You're entitled to think what you want, but it's all hearsay that's clearly based on assumption and not fact, and also quite clear you really don't know at all what you're talking about (especially to someone who has "been there, done that" so to speak).
Everyone seems to think marijuana is this easy to grow plant that you can just toss in your backyard and everything will work out. It's one of the most finicky plants on the planet, and just because it will grow anywhere, doesn't mean it will flourish anywhere. |

And also tended to by people who have more than half a clue. ;)
Competition breeds quality - and you have plenty of it up there. :p
Also, I never said good pot couldn't be grown outside - only that not everyone can do it. |

Wow you really made all of those assumptions up in your head? And you think you're the only person who has 'been there done that'? |

No, I didn't, and I don't. It is, however, clear from the way you toss off responses that you haven't.
Unless of course you're just failing massively at communicating, no one who had any idea what they were discussing would respond the way you have.
I've known enough people over the years who have a good handle on what they're doing to know when someone is talking shop or talking . |

I have done it and it is really a lot easier than having kids.
The hardest (longest) part is the trim.

Flowering. :sadgreen:
Fun to watch, hard to wait.
At least the trim (if it's the final trim you're talking about - not just pruning) is one or two nights of hell/absurdly repetitive and mind numbing work, and you can generally start smoking throughout.
But yeah - I hated those nights too. |

Why would I grow marijuana? That is illegal and I would never do that. And why would I want to communicate in a public forum that I would do something like that?
Like I said though between a chemist and a horticulturalist who takes care of plants for a living I think a few neurons would fire and something would grow. |

I'd much rather cure it properly and smoke something I bought in the meantime. |

I wonder if heroin and coke would actually be advertised if they were made legal.
Can you imagine TV ads with people snorting some coke or shooting up?
:wtf:
I could see pot being heavily advertised, though. :D |

Because you understand how the law works, what a statute of limitations is, and how communications on a public forum (one outside your own borders, no less) holds up as evidence of anything.

Just because you can get something to grow doesn't mean you can do it well. Again, you're assuming because someone has a rudimentary (associates degree, lol) understanding of horticulture, you can just do something and do it well.
I'm telling you that you will fail. |
