GREEK.
dude. i've always loved gyros and mediterranean/middle eastern-ish type food from the little i've tried here and there, but tonight i got the urge to try this greek restaurant i drive by all the time and never tried.
damn it was good. had some sort of garlic-lemon eggplant dip with warm pita bread as an app and then i had a stuffed pepper & stuffed tomato with rice and seasoned ground beef and mushrooms. holy . the stuffing was almost sweet...like sugar was in it or something. with greek potatoes (lemon & pepper) and peas.
i can't wait to go back and try something else from there:crazy: |

Yeah it's better at some places than other... when you get a good recipe, it's awesome. Anyone been to Tarpon Springs in FL? It's about 20 minutes north of Clearwater... big Greek community. Best Greek joints I've been to outside of NYC |

Dude... caviar? FTL? Are you sick in the head?
I am not a huge fan of russian food, mostly because alot of it is fried.
I like Mediterranean food alot, I also really like Caribbean food. |

I don't like caviar but olivye is ing delish.
Jamie: Cabbage rolls, pelmini (similar to pot stickers but not fried, usually boiled and then once cooked thrown on a pan to firm them), plov (a rice and lamb dish), lots of salads of different types, soups (there are more than just the beat soup everyone thinks of), umm...Denys and Vlad can be a more complete source of the different dishes.
Oh and Tiziki sauce is ing delish. I love that stuff. Greek food is good. |
