yes, it's just a 3D render.
i want to see the final design before i make my decision, but i like this one. |

| yea I don't think that's the actual screen icons, just rendered. I was reading some blogs by some so called analysts, and they are saying that Android will not be able to compete with iPhone and that there is no market for such a thing, lol. I think it's nothing more than these so called "analysts" that bought the latest iPhone and are pissed off that there is a much better OS that is coming out that will destroy the iPhone. I mean c'mon, were finally seeing an open source, Linux based OS here...bye bye iPhone. Your thoughts?? |

What apple has done so well is marketing of the iphone. One top of it being a great and very intuitive product they have great marketing.
I'm not sure if this is going to be the case with HTC Dream/G1. However since Android will be released on several phones it might eat up some of the Mobile OS market.
BTW i prefer the black one over white/brown. |

No doubt Apple has one hell of a strong marketing campaign. However, there's more to it than just marketing a name and once it does get released, granted it does perform like it is being hyped, and covers all the features of iPhone and all the features it doesn't, it should dominate iPhone. Yay for run-on sentences. I'm really tired of Apple and there quick model updates, and so are a lot of other people. As soon as you buy the latest iPhone/iPod, u see an announcement that Apple is relesing a new model to fix all the the current one has issues with. |

I think Android will have to be a lot better than the iphone/Mac OS X for it to stop the iphone cash train. Though they have been experiencing alot of issues lately with 3G I still see reports of american cows continuing to buy them. Plus if Android is far superior I'm sure at one point it will be ported over to the iphone. Assuming the iphone hardware is compatible.
