The Android Market is already building quite quickly. And contrary to the "OMGITDOESNTHAVE" crowd rumblings, at least it is 100% open and changeable without going to the bull that Apple has.

Are you on crack? Since when was Google a phone vendor? Since when were they a manufacturer? Yeah exactly. Shut up until you know what you are talking about.

gUno in my greedy hands. (pics were taken w/ my inferior Sammy D600 2MP camera)

Got to play with it today. Android has lots of potential, played with it for an hour. I'm definitely considering getting one now (black)

It is a bit bigger than iphone but it does feel good my hands. The touch screen features weren't as fluid as the iphone but it gets the job done nonetheless. Browsing on Tmobile's 3g was pretty good, overall I prefer browsing with the trackball.

debating whether i should wait and see if the HTC Touch HD + Android rumors are true or not. G2?

TouchHD + Android is false. Why? That would canibalize their sales of the G1 in other markets.

Can't believe they will release the G1 in Japan. The hardware alone is a step back from what is currently available there. Same reason why iphone sales are slow there as well.

HTC has said that they will not be releasing the TouchHD in US but if it's true it might still be good. Plus G1 is just an entry phone for Android.

While they aren't releasing it in the US, the Dream is being released in many other countries. This phone is more than just an "entry-level" phone for Android. It is a "pilot" of sorts to gauge the interest, usability, user feedback, problems, hardware inefficiencies, etc. There is so much more to this first iteration of an Android device than meets the eye.

And yeah the iPhone sales blow in Japan because it has 25% of the features that they are all used to having all the time.
