It's awesome explains about all the different kinds of elves and where they came from their god, and how sauron is a peice of crap compared to how bad melkor was. Where those bad ass spiders came from the different wizards that appeared along with Gandalf. Also lost tales, and tales of beleriand. Although thats a lot of song and poems. |

meh, ive never been a fan of the "mysterious" vibe used in novels, and often find it a rather lazy device. i prefer things spelled out, and having whatever is spelled out made of awesome and win. i wouldn't have minded if this made gandalf stand out, coz like i said, the other characters were rather wooden imo.
but that could just be that im a fan of mages. |

Of all the characters Tolkien related way too much with hobbits,( smoke weed , drink tons of brew , chat with his buddies ( C .C. Lewis ) and like to see things grow). |
