Wow, nice.
These kind of meals aren't every day fare, though, are they? More for special occasions?
But, Elfreak, Jamie's meal would be considered a special meal (because of the time and effort) for every day? I mean she works and comes home and fixes this for her bf... |
The one at Craft is $95 for 1 person. So yeah, not an "every day" type of thing. |

I'm busting balls.
i do all the cooking and i put in the time almost every day (sometimes we eat easy stuff too). If my girlfriend wants to eat it a different way i am fine with that because i still get to enjoy it like i intended it. Doing things solely for the approval of someone else is silly, and if it is the reason you do it you should not bother.
i can pat myself on the back, i am not insecure enough that i need my girlfriend to do this. |

| a 7 course meal every day involves cooking from the time you wake up...no one has the time. |

Compare most of your posts to the ones that say "my girlfriend" and it just seems so... odd. :p |

anything that requires me to prepare fresh ingredients is above average eating to me. i don't ever do frozen vegetables and all my herbs are always fresh.
the average person (especially who isn't into cooking) just gets already prepared , and popping something in the oven or in a pan and "cooking" it requires no skill at all.
the only shortcut i used with my stuffed peppers was the uncle ben's rice that you just boil in the bag. everything else was fresh and i was really excited about it.
and like u are one to talk about what is fancy or not jay. u used to be a chef for christ sake so naturally something like greek style stuffed peppers is like having pizza hut to you:rolleyes:
