Maybe it's just coincidence but I haven't noticed any major PDD Bush apologists coming to the rescue in any of these threads. I guess they got nothing.

It's over.

EDIT:

I was half expecting Palin to break down and start crying "I can't do this!"

That is just embarrassing... Simply "wow". I would have done that better. Too bad I can't run for vice-president =/

im not entirely sure what that means, but i thought it was obvious that I was being facetious.

Yes, quite. And I thought it was pretty obvious I was being sarcastic in my previous two posts, unfortunately I once again forgot to take into consideration the "American" factor so I should have ended the posts with:

WOOP WOOP SARCASM ALERT SARCASM ALERT WOOP WOOP

I realize this is McCain centric because he's running for the major spot, but what is up with the constant referencing?

Sure Couric asked several poignant questions regarding him directly but a fair amount were direct questions.

Me versus Us, maybe she isn't all that self centered, but not being able to compose an original thought shows great weakness in her part.

Self admidittly I am ignorant on the question because I haven't watched many of his itws, speeches etc, but is Biden always crying Obabababmama?

Biden has actually disagreed with Obama publicly on a few issues... which in all honesty, is what I'd rather have in a VP... someone willing to take him on rather than suckle from his teat.

It meant that your attempt to defend the American people by forcing me to deny a stereotype of British people backfired as I "agreed" with it

Funnily enough, I did have a discussion about that stereotype with someone recently and apparently Americans are really obsessed with their teeth (have to be perfectly straight, shiny white) and spend all their hard earned cash sticking metal in kids faces making sure their teeth don't go funny! We don't really have that "pageant" mentality over here so unless there's a medical reason (rather than cosmetic reason) for getting dental care we don't tend to bother!

touche - nice play.

you are certainly correct; for me, bad teeth can be a huge dealbreaker.

COURIC: You've said, quote, "John McCain will reform the way Wall Street does business." Other than supporting stricter regulations of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac two years ago, can you give us any more example of his leading the charge for more oversight?

PALIN: I think that the example that you just cited, with his warnings two years ago about Fannie and Freddie--that, that's paramount. That's more than a heck of a lot of other senators and representatives did for us.

COURIC: But he's been in Congress for 26 years. He's been chairman of the powerful Commerce Committee. And he has almost always sided with less regulation, not more.

PALIN: He's also known as the maverick though. Taking shots from his own party, and certainly taking shots from the other party. Trying to get people to understand what he's been talking about--the need to reform government.

COURIC: I'm just going to ask you one more time, not to belabor the point. Specific examples in his 26 years of pushing for more regulation?

PALIN: I'll try to find you some and I'll bring them to you.

This is the best election ever.

We're ed. There are no good options. Why didn't he pick Romney??

Yea it's just the way she said that last line that creased me up!

It couldn't have been any funnier if she'd said "ya'll have a nice day now" as well!
