Palin struggles (badly) in Couric interview..

Wow...it's so obvious she only memorized a few answers here. She comes off terribly, looking very inexperienced on these big issues and stumbling on almost every question. One giant sucking sound pause occurred when Couric asked for another example of McCain's position, and once Palin's great talking points were questioned, she has no answers at all...just repeats the same phrases ad nauseum.

It's all over her face. She knows she's a fraud. She knows she is in over her head. No wonder the Mccain camp wants to prevent a prolonged debate with Biden...and it's no wonder he "temporarily suspended" his campaign rather than letting her run it in his place. She needs more coaching and he doesn't trust her to make more media appearances or run anything on a national level. His little gimmick is wearing thin.

*edit* part 2, foreign policy:

and zomg...Palin can't name a single supreme court case aside from Roe V Wade. Bush v Gore anyone?

Katie Couric, the first ever female evening news anchor, finally exposes herself as a sexist bent on destroying the most popular politician of our time. For shame.

Seriously, John McCain has absolutely no judgment if he thought he could hoist this woman upon us. And he must be incredibly cynical about the intelligence of the American people if he thought we would buy it.

Palin truly is a hockey mom with too many children and not much time for anything else. It's terribly obvious that she never gave a moment's thought to any national issues prior to being nominated.

It really speaks of Mccain's judgment to choose such a person to be 'ready and able' if something should happen to him.

So if he has suspended his campaign does that mean Obama gets it unanimously or what. They need to conduct the debate one way or another. Sarah Palin has been a bad choice from the start really...

Strange, this is how I imagined all Americans to be, is that not the case?
