holy run on sentences! Palin's grammatical skills are eerily similar to Bush's grammatical skills (Although, Bush was uncharacteristically eloquent in his economic speech the other day).

This lady is unbelievably stupid.

There are several people on this forum who have a better grasp of basic issues than she does.

I'm this close to saying "even LatinLover." No joke.

Katie Couric, the first ever female evening news anchor, finally exposes herself as a sexist bent on destroying the most popular politician of our time. For shame.

Seriously, John McCain has absolutely no judgment if he thought he could hoist this woman upon us. And he must be incredibly cynical about the intelligence of the American people if he thought we would buy it.
Fortunately the american people have you to open their eyes.

Wait...since Obama's campaign characterizes him as a..let me try to find an extra large font for extra truthiness (nah, that's just gay)..."character assassin," it must therefore be true. Obama has not satisfactorily convinced me that his associations with Ayers and others are as innocent as he would have us believe. Jesus.

At best, this Obama piece is hypocritical for it engages in character assassination in order to somehow attempt to prove that someone else is a character assassin, despite that the original author has actually done qualitative research on the subject that in the very least, opens the door to many questions that still need better answers.

There is absolutely nothing qualitative in that article that refutes an ounce of what Kurtz claims from his own research except that Obama says it isn't so. I've heard Obama say a lot of stuff "isn't so" only to find out later that it is. Based on what you've shared here, which isn't much, I don't see anything that supports your claim that the guy is a slimy smear merchant, no matter how large you make the font.

Just what is your quarrel with Obama and Ayers? The fact they worked together? That Obama may have misrepresented the closeness of their relationship? Surely you don't entertain the possibility that Obama is secretly an Ayers sympathizer bent on masking his radicalism until getting elected at which point he will bomb congress.

I understand the concern and with that piece, no doubt there will be more work done to investigate their connection. But thus far there are no concrete examples of Obama supporting Ayers' philosophy or opinions short of working with him on the CAC. Its still conjecture and another flimsy excuse to use for not supporting Obama.

I don't get it, why keep digging that hole? Its obviously a ridiculous notion. Why not just admit the mistake or figure out a way to explain what she really meant? But to try and drive home the point?

Surprise Surprise! Mccain wants to ditch Vice-Presidential debates too..

quote:
McCain Camp: Let's Push Back Biden-Palin Match-Up, September 24, 2008 7:04 PM ABC News' Teddy Davis and Rigel Anderson Report: The McCain campaign told ABC News on Wednesday that John McCain wants to postpone Friday's presidential debate until Thursday, Oct. 2.

The Arizona senator would like the vice presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden, which is currently scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 2 in St. Louis, Missouri, to be scheduled for a later unspecified date.

The details about what McCain is seeking, which were provided by a McCain aide who spoke on the condition of anonymity, came a few hours after the Republican presidential candidate announced that he was suspending campaigning so he could return to Washington, D.C., to try to forge a consensus on a financial bailout package.

McCain's public call for a debate delay was rebuffed by Barack Obama who joined fellow Democrats in arguing that a president needs to be able to multi-task.

"I believe that we should continue to have the debate," Obama said in Clearwater Florida. "It's my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person who, in approximately 40 days, will be responsible for dealing with this mess."

Remember, Mccain wanted to delay HIS debate to Thursday October 2nd, which *just happens* to be the date Palin is scheduled to debate Biden. Now that he is trying to push back hers as well, it seems obvious to me that this was the plan from the beginning and the whole "going back to Washington" thing was just a distraction. He is desperate to give her more time to be coached.

Have you ever been one to raise an eyebrow regarding Bush family ties to the Bin Laden family? My quarrel is that it's clear that the association is more than Obama would like to publicly admit. The fact that he continues to downplay the association just makes me that much more uncomfortable.

Do I think he plans to unleash his crazy radicalism and bomb congress? Come on, Josh, that's silly. Do I trust him less due to his shadiness? yes.

lol then you loose all rights to complain! I've never voted before, I don't even think one vote makes a difference, but I'm voting in this election. It could be one of the most important elections in history and you've got your panties in a bunch because politicians are being politicians. Let me know when you find your perfect flawless candidate

Just because I said I didn't support anybody doesn't mean I don't plan on voting. I just haven't decided who is going to be so lucky as to get my world changing vote!

Aside from that--congrats on voting and being engaged in the world. That's a good thing.
