I like going up to girls and saying in an Australian accent: "Do you fancy a shag?" "Well would you mind lying down while I have one?"

Surprisingly it doesn't get you as much action as you'd think... Dunno why.

Well this was more of a "Do you say things that people in different parts of the country say as opposed to the local slang?" but I will give it a listen. :)

It isn't though. You don't have to tell us what you are saying, but replying with a yes and expanding a little would suffice. Similar to the way I did saying that I get mistaken for being from the mid-west because of some of the things I say. ;) :p

edit//your accent is relatively neutral considering your native tongue. I would have expected thicker. :)

i have a tampa accent, aka the inland central florida accent mixed with southern midwestern. people never get it right though, they've asked if i was from: texas, georgia, mississippi, arkansas, michigan, minnesota, indiana, illinois, canada AND new zealand.
