I have VIP, so no dealing with the insane line. |
VIP does not guarantee fast entrance. people on this board complained about VIP for years. sometimes organizers mess up, sometimes crowd come all at the same time. sometimes security gets bitchy. the weather is cold and rainy in these days too. |

Meh I'm dubious on how long everyone is saying it will take to get in. TAO is usually pretty good and the fact that there are 5 separate general entrances should help lines move along. I'll be a line cutter if necessary :) |
At Monster Massive back in October (held in the same location) there were a couple different entrances. The line for the entrance on the east side of the arena went all the way down Figueroa and would have taken over an hour to get through at 8:30pm. My friends and I found a different entrance on the south side of the arena and were inside in less than 15 minutes.
With 5 entrances the wait shouldn't be too long. If you find an entrance with a crazy line, it may be worthwhile to walk to another entrance. Five to ten minutes of walking may save you an hour of waiting in line.
I will be in line before 7pm to get the maximum amount of Armin possible so this won't be an issue for me :) |

Terrific! I hope that getting in line around 6:30pm will allow me to see the opening. This will be my first time seeing Armin so I'm pretty stoked. |

its NYE, why not! Some will be, some will be very casual and there is a wide range in between. As long as your comfortable who cares. |

The temperature will be in the mid 40s to low 50s at night (depending when you get in line), so I imagine people will wear a bit more clothes than at Monster Massive (in October)... at least until they get inside.
I will be wearing shorts, tennis shoes, tank top and sweatshirt... pretty standard for an event like this. As it heats up inside, I will strip off the sweatshirt and tank top. You will see people revealing far more than me. |

Banora, here are photos of Electric Daisy Carnival to give you an idea of what people wear. Its a wide wide spectrum ranging from your standard club clothes to the most relaxed styles you can find. My thought is so long as you don't show up in black&white attire you'll be fine. If I had VIP I might have considered getting a tad bit more dressed, but it would be pretty casual wear - jeans, steezing t-shirt, etc. I'll be wearing shorts though as it gets pretty hot and its comfortable. If I freeze and get sick on the way out, it'll be worth it. Saving my dress attire for Markus Schultz :happy2:
tl:dr
Wear what you find appealing and comfortable. You'll probably look around and think "what the hell are people wearing?"
edit: I thought of posting pictures of what my friends usually wear but...maybe another time |
