Hypothetical: If you had enough money for either GMAX or TAO, where would you go (take into account production, lines, crowd, etc)?
I'm a little concerned that over a 9 hour span Armin could go stagnant. I love my trance but what could he give us that keeps me moving or happy for that long. I had a good time at Armin Only. Can he repeat?
GMAX does not necessarily have that problem with the DJ changes. Both Benassi and Moby were exceptional at EDC so I'd love to see them again. Neutral to Dirty South and Farina. I've heard various issues though with GMAX.

That's exactly how I felt after Giant Village too! But given a choice between Armin and Moby, I'd much rather see Armin, plus I know that this event will draw some other great talent. I know that many people raved about Moby's set at EDC, but seemed like a lot of odd noises to me and then how do you dance to it? |

| The production is done by Armin's marketing and production team. so the same set will be used as the "Armin Only" |

9 hours of the same genre? gag. |
Armin is definitely going to mix it up for that show:
"What I really enjoy is playing nine-hour sets because I get to show the people that I also love more progressive records," he says. "I love so many dance tunes but when I do a two or three hour set usually what I do - and what every DJ does - is play the big tracks that are out there at the moment. When I play nine hours I can play the records that I want to play but I can't when I play a festival or something." Armin stresses that the big concerts he plays are not a way of raking in the cash. "To be honest, it doesn't make me a lot more money when I play a nine-hour set," he claims. "It's not like I want to play to 15,000 people to just show off that I can play for nine hours. It's really that I save up all these records that I know I can't play normally. It gives me a lot of satisfaction. It's a lot of hard work but it's also very rewarding once I've done it." |

Armin did a great job in LA for his last Armin ONLY two years back...
Armin has doen Great this past summer in Ibiza playing for 8 hours...
Armin did an awesome job at his Armin ONLY event this past April in Holland....
So I don't see why it would be different in LA this time around... |
