2 years ago, we bought VIP tickets through Groovetickets.com for TAO and then we had to wait in Groove's line to exchange our tickets for tickemaster-looking tickets. Then we had to go to the VIP line and stand in line again. It was a waste of time standing in the Groove line. I don't know if they changed that since then as we were at Tiesto last NYE.

| IMO mailed hard tickets are always the way to go. However the Groovetickets line isn't that bad. They swipe your credit card, put a wristband on you and then your on your way in. |

Yeah, and Groovetickets did have VIP for $100 on Saturday wheni bought mine. Sad part is that I will probably have to pay for my drinks anyway since they've been serving only cheap-ass vodka in VIP. Cheap vodka is actually more expensive, you just pay for it the next day instead!!
I got VIP for convenient entry since this will be on a Wednesday and I can't take that day off, so hope it's easy to get in as Monster Massive was! |

Make sure you learn of all the VIP areas since there is more than just one behind the DJ's. There is also one outside in the corner. |

I hate to say it, even though we had vip last year, we probably spent a total of 30mins only to grab/finish drinks then go right back into the mass. I've never really enjoyed being separated from the rest of the people. Nor am I really feeling the East Coast clubber scene so I'm looking forward to heading "home." Heh 22 year old still wishing he was a 16 year old kandi kid. |

I haven't liked Armin's sets in a long while so I was prepared to be bored when I went to Giant Village :toothless I liked Armin when he used to play harder but he's too prog and fluffy for my taste nowadays.

I saw him run like a race horse to the porta-potty backstage once in the middle of his set and after he was done with the set. Maybe drinking (vodka-?)cranberry juice was a strategic move for him :p |

armin usually changes his shirt a few times, too :-)
he sometimes also has special guests who can probably take over for a few minutes just in case
the longest I ever played a set for was 5 hours, and that was ridiculous (although a lot of fun)... i cant imagine almost twice that |
