Ok, all of you Obama supporters
What exactly is a Civilian National Security Force?
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
"If we're going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn't this rather a big deal?" Farah wrote. "I thought Democrats generally believed the U.S. spent too much on the military. How is it possible their candidate is seeking to create some kind of massive but secret national police force that will be even bigger than the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force put together?"
"With the US Army alone at over 500,000 serving members and the US Military budget at over $400 billion for 2007, there were a lot of questions regarding such a gargantuan, sweeping program. Most important, how is it to be funded?
Barney Frank is proposing cutting the budget for the military by 25%, by $150,000,000,000. |

They are called "Reserves"
Australia has the reserve system and it works quite well, though they are still army in a way. No idea wtf you need civilians with guns for though? Oh wait.... |

National Guard?
I support Obama, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything he says. But he is 1000x better than John McCain and his dimwitted VP pick Sarah Palin. |
